    She is also a ballet dancer. Kloss began studying at Caston's Ballet Academie in 2002 before being invited to dance with the main company, the Caston Chamber Ballet, in June 2007.

    Kloss was discovered at a charity fashion show in St. Louis.

    In 2007, she signed with Elite Model Management before controversially moving to NEXT Model Management in January 2008.

    She was the face of "See" by Chloe, but was later replaced by Taryn Davidson.

    At the Jill Stuart Fall 2008 show, model-turned-TV host Tyra Banks was seen mockingly imitating Kloss' swaying motion and "stoned death stare."
