    Prinsloo was discovered, aged 16, in a supermarket in Cape Town, South Africa by Sarah Doukas, the same model scout that discovered model Kate Moss.

    She is the spokesmodel for the Victoria's Secret brand Pink.

    She is very close friends with Coco Rocha.

    She plays the rich girl in the "Rich Girls" music video by The Virgins.
